ABOUT US Graduating as a Cadastral Surveyor in 1965, John de la Couture (formerly John Dee) has developed into one of the leading figures in Queensland's surveying and town planning industries. After initial stints with the Queensland Government's Survey office Department of lands, and the People's Republic of South Africa's Trigonametrical Survey Office, John moved into private practice with Jones, Flint and Pyke, and Thiess Brothers before establishing his own firm of John Dee Consulting in 1978.
