Welcome! ACT Concrete Water Tanks has been in business for 30 years and has always been a family run business building the best quality concrete tanks. All major builders in this region use ACT Concrete Water Tanks. Why Concrete Water Tanks Concrete tanks are the superior water storage choice, an environmentally friendly option made from natural materials. Water quality is better because water is kept cool and free of contaminates that may be present in tank materials other than concrete. Concrete tanks are more durable and also fixable if damaged. They are also fire proof, so are a lasting investment. About ACT Concrete Water Tanks Sam has had 20 years experience building tanks and is the only tank builder we know of who has been issued with a license to build concrete tanks by the Department of Fair Trading. We stand by our 25 year written guarantee (guarantees by unlicensed builders are worthless) and have fixed tanks built as far back as two previous owners of this business. One tank was 13 years old when repaired and built eight years before we took over the business. Using a local company helps your own economy (we use all local materials and labour) and ensures good after sales service. The Process Our tanks are poured on site using the latest equipment and ready mix concrete. Pump poured tanks such as ours do not have a floor-wall join and so are less likely to leak. Our concrete roofs have four reinforced support columns and are strong enough to be walked over by livestock or used as a base for a pergola or clothesline, ETC. All tanks come with a 2” brass outlet, a 2” gate valve, two 4” inlets and a 4” overflow. Call Sam or Ben for more information or a free site inspection. Best time to catch them is on the office numbers in the evening.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
