These bins are basically for junk. Things you don’t want anymore and you can’t give away. Any thing that’s broken or stored and you don’t know why you kept it. Green waste can also go in this bin, but if you have a large amount you may like to consider a green waste only bin. Clearing out you junk can be fun for the whole family. mixed renovations Renovation Bin is for construction and demolition waste. Material such as timber, gyprock, toilet, bath, sinks, ovens, small amount of tiles, lino and small amounts of plant matter. Insulation may go in this bin only if it has been bagged. We do ask metal items to be placed in the bin last so we can remove metal before we weigh the bin. One Material Type Only Must be one type of material only Paper/cardboard recycling is the process of turning waste paper into new paper products. There are three categories of paper that can be used as feed stocks for making recycled paper: mill broke, per-consumer waste, and post-consumer waste.[ Post-consumer waste is material discarded after consumer use, such as old corrugated containers (OCC), old magazines, old newspapers (ONP), office paper, old telephone directories, and residential mixed paper (RMP). Bricks can be recycled in two ways. First, they can be cleaned and reused in another building or project. Alternatively, they can be crushed into brick chips (for use as a landscape material) and/or finer particles (for use in manufacturing road-base, track and drainage material, fill sand or new bricks). There are a variety of benefits in recycling concrete rather than dumping it or burying it in a landfill. Keeping concrete debris out of landfills saves landfill space. Recycling one ton of cement could save 1,360 gallons water, 900 kg of co2. Using recycled concrete as the base material for roadways reduces the pollution involved in trucking material Waste soil from excavation at one site can provide a valuable resource for fill material at another site.
