Using the latest non-destructive equipment and with the experience you can rely on, the information that we will provide you will help you in your decision. Our inspection will cover all accessible areas, and complies with the Australian Standard 4349.1 for building inspections and the Australian Standard 4349.3 for timber pest inspections. We will provide you with a written report at the completion of our inspection and the information of the condition of your property and we will explain the findings in detail, and we do encourage you attend at the completion of the inspection if you cannot be there we will ring you and explain our findings prior to writing the report. Our reports are not a tick box format which are written onsite and often hard to understand. We individually type our reports for each inspection and attach photographs to the report for a professional, precise and value for money presentation. For all our pest inspections we are now using the unique TermatracT3i - the only device in the world that detects termites or pest movement through and behind any walls, ceilings and roof areas. We can show you this on a screen. Building Inspections During Construction Adelaide Building & Property Inspections can provide staged inspections throughout the process of having your new home built. Ensuring the work will be carried out to your specifications and will comply with all relevant codes and standards. We appreciate most owners have little experience in the building industry and being that this will be one of the your most significant investments, peace of mind that the your new home will be built to your expectations is not out of the question. We provide a practical approach and are mindful to maintain a good relationship between you and your building contractor. Although we do expect that your new home will meet all your expectations and will be completed within the schedule time frame for you. We provide the same service for when you are extending or renovating your existing home. As a licensed builder and having completed many additions and alterations, we are aware that trying to match to your existing home can be rather more complicated and demanding than building from new. Building Disputes We appreciate some times situations, do not go to plan and your expectation seemingly are being ignored. You can sense that all may not be what you were expecting, anxiety and frustrations can make your building experience far less than what you were expecting. We can provide an inspection and determine if your building works are complying with all relevant standards, and ensure that all your specifications are been completed as they are set out in your contractual documentations. We can assess if the building works are carried out in a diligent manner, and can assist to get your building works back on track by acting as an intermediary between you and the building contractor to resolve problems where appropriate. We will provide a comprehensive and detailed written report detail issues and providing recommendations and remedial works. Fees are based on $200.00 per hour (inclusive of GST for the inspection, report writing and consultation). There is a minimum charge of $400.00 inclusive of GST per site visit and will include traveling time within the Adelaide metropolitan area. Payments will be invoiced and can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or credit card.
