It is important that the right grass is selected for your area as it is not only looks that decide what grass should be selected. Factors such as shade, sunlight, soil type, purpose for the area, irrigation and climate all influence which grass is suitable for you. For example an area in direct sunlight with minimal access to water would require a drought tolerant (warm season) grass to be installed. If the area was small, had minimal use along with having access to plenty of water, then you would also consider a cool season grass such as Tall Fescue. Drought tolerant grasses (warm season grasses) grow best in the warmer months of the year and then go into dormancy in the colder months. This results in a loss of colour and slower growth rate but the luxury of this situation is they require no or very little watering or mowing. Cool season grasses don’t handle the warmer weather as well, require quite a lot of water and are not self repairing. However, they do grow and look better in the cooler weather. As water restrictions are in place in most of the country the majority of people and landscapers tend to be using drought tolerant grasses (warm season grasses). These grasses once established can survive on minimal water, are strong, self repairing and low maintenance, especially Palmetto Soft Leaf Buffalo and Couch. We have made a decision to stop supplying Kikuyu as have had a lot of negative feedback with regards to people having problems keeping it under control due to its aggressive growth structure and it tends to thatch up and become thick and spongy. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
