And it’s become a very common way for people to improve the look of a room without ripping up the existing floor. Rather than nailing down the timber floor, we simply lay the floor over most types of dry and level sub-floors, including concrete, particle board, ply, floorboards and ceramic tiles. We lay a foam underlay between the floors, which is great for insulation and noise absorption. The result is a long-lasting, environmentally friendly and stunning floor that you’ll be proud to show off.
