The work involved: the re-setting and re-pointing of terracotta ridge tiles the relaying and re-nailing, where necessary of original Welsh slates the installation of a new 15M (approx) Zincalum box gutter and the re=setting of 2 and in some places 3 rows of slates to ensure a sound and waterproof up turn for the gutter. This also involved the installation of flashing into the adjoining brick parapet wall the installation of a new Zincalum skillion roof over the rear portion of the house, including the installation of insulation batts and insulated sarking the replacement of rotten weatherboards and re-fixing of the associated eaves gutter.
