Removal is generally a last resort if no other outcome can be suitably chosen. Replacement is recommended where possible and the use of the mulch to be applied to any existing garden beds. There are of course other situations such as construction of new developments or roads that require tree removal. We have two tree climbers in our team, who are trained in safe climbing and rigging techniques to remove trees in seemingly difficult situations. If the tree is easily accessible, it may be felled or the use of cherry-pickers is the other preferred, safe option to carrying out the task. Consider whether or not there may be other options to removing your tree as it could also be a valuable and sadly missed asset.
