ABOUT US Tim McMahon obtained a Bachelor of Technology (Building Surveying) from Swinburne University in 1998. Tim is a Registered Building Practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority and started his his own business in 2002. Tim prides himself on, and enjoys, providing a personalised service to his broad range of clients. Kate Lapthorne completed her Bachelor of Science (Hons) at Melbourne University in 2002. In addtion she has obtained a Diploma of Project Management from Tasmania Tafe in 2010. Kate's knowledge of the adminimstrative processes involved within the building industry is extensive and she is a great asset to the Bayway team. Kate plays a vital role assisting the Building Surveyor with preparing building permit applications, preliminary ‘checklist’ reports, attending and responding to phone calls, emails and obtaining property information.
