ABOUT Ben-Tovim Design products are made to order in Melbourne, Australia. Each Ben-Tovim design product is assembled by hand in our Fawkner studio. B-TD looks to source as many parts and materials from local suppliers as possible. Our products are all made to order in small batches, allowing customization and collaboration. Ben-Tovim Design was founded by Jonathan Ben-Tovim in 2011 as an industrial design consultancy with an in-house range of lighting and furniture. Jonathan Ben-Tovim established BT-D after spending a number of years working for Goodwin Hartshorn in London and Charlwood in Melbourne, working with clients such as Bowers & Wilkins, Joseph Joseph and Breville UK. Jonathan Ben-Tovim was born in Zimbabwe, grew up and studied industrial design in Adelaide and then moved to Holland to complete masters at the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven. This was followed by several years of working as a designer in London, until 2010 when Jonathan finally settled in Melbourne, Australia. Contact us today for more information.
