These bins are ideal for all types of waste such as general waste and cleanups, garden waste, household cleanups, shed cleanups, commercial and home renovations, moving house, factory cleanups, landscaping, builders rubbish, rubble, concrete, bricks, dirt, industrial waste, residential and commercial waste and are ideal for builders waste. Skip Bin or Walk-in Bin? Skip Bin or Walk-in Bin? Our walk-in bins are ideal for most jobs, as they provide easy access, as you can just open the back of the bin and put any rubbish straight in. There's no need to try and lift it over a high side of a bin. If you have limited space or just a small amount of light weight rubbish then the smaller 2 or 3 cubic metre skips are an ideal solution. If you’re not quite sure what size bin you’re after, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help you work out what size you need to complete your clean-up. What can't go in the bins? Items which cannot go in any bins are: asbestos, paint and part filled paint tins, gas bottles, chemicals and liquid waste, food scraps. Additional Costs Some items that incur an additional cost: mattresses, tyres and if the bin is overfilled. How high can the bin be filled? How high can the bin be filled? Bins can be filled to the top rail of the bin, no higher. If the driver arrives and the bin is over filled, we reserve the right to either remove some of the contents or charge an extra amount for the excess. How long can I keep the bin? At Big Bins, we allow you to keep the bin for 3 days, but extra days can be arranged depending on weather the bin has been booked out to another job. We can usually be flexible, but extra charges may apply. How much notice do I need to give to order a bin? We are usually able to deliver a bin to you within 24 hours from the time you order. We recommend that you try to book your bin in advance if possible, to ensure you are able to receive the size bin you require on the day you need it. Council Permit Information If a bin is placed on the road or car park, you may be required to get a permit from your local council. Please check with your council to arrange the permit. Some councils even require a permit for bins that are placed on your nature strip.
