His traditional & contemporary uses of advanced techniques with glass produce unique items of lasting value. Several beautiful samples of his craft have been featured in WIN Television promotional advertisements for local events on the South Coast of New South Wales Australia where Bill creates his masterpieces. His much admired restoration work at Sydney's State Theatre during 1990 has been followed by extensive and significant church work comprising both restoration and new commissions. All Saints Church in Bodalla, St John's Uniting Church in Wahroonga, Sydney and "Mother Teresa" for St Bede's Braidwood are further examples of his great versatility. Commissioned for the design and handcrafting of panels for Australia's leading furniture manufacturer Chiswell Furniture and the honour of being an official judge in 1995 and 1996 at the Royal Canberra Show give more acclaim to this great Australian Artist. Teaching his art has been of great personal satisfaction to Bill over the years. Tutoring many grateful students since 1985 (over 600 now) Bill has seen most go on to produce talented and pleasing results. After completing ten years as the resident glass artisan at Mogo, he relocated to his present studio in Batemans Bay. Bill Mahoney is a member of N.A.V.A. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
