ABOUT CalCo Surveyors Pty Ltd commenced in July 2006 and operates in the Mid North Coast and Upper Hunter Regions of NSW as a renamed version of Calver de Witt and Taylor Pty Ltd, formed in 1992 by Julian and Robyn Calver, Bernard de Witt and Michael Taylor. Prior to this the office was operated as a branch office of Asquith & de Witt of Charlestown. The office has operated in the Gloucester, Great Lakes and Walcha regions since 1986. The practice is currently under the directorship of Frank Compton and Phil Bowden. The practice is equipped with a range of surveying equipment including a fully autonomous remotely-piloted UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – eBee), Trimble RTK GPS and GNSS system, Trimble fully robotic S8 Total Station. Computer aided design systems including MAGNET are used for surveying and engineering calculations as well as plan preparation.
