About Us Andrew Timmer and his wife Jenny established a building business on the Sunshine Coast in 1990, after their move from country Victoria. Andrew is a qualified carpenter and joiner. By being on site, clients have direct access to the person who owns and runs the business. Andrew and Jenny pride themselves on the professionalism and value of a larger building company, but maintain the flexibility and personal touch that you receive working with a ‘small builder’. Andrew believes that communication is the key to a successful building project. “I enjoy it when my clients are involved with the building of their home and I get pleasure from the ‘hands on’ aspect of building homes.” Andrew uses quality local trade contractors, some who have worked for him since the commencement of his business. Two of Andrew and Jenny’s sons are doing their Carpentry Apprenticeships with Andrew and their youngest son is doing his Plumbing Apprenticeship with Andrew’s plumber. “Sometimes the whole family is on site,” says Andrew. “These are terrific times!” Contemporary Queenslanders Andrew’s passion is to build homes suitable for the Queensland climate. He values Australian made products, preferring to use Australian hardwoods for decking and polished floors. Due to the variations of each block of land and the client's needs, a design service is offered. “By working together with you we can design and build a home that suits your lifestyle and your needs.” Clients that have built with Contemporary Queensland Homes (by Andrew Timmer) value these features: Open living Inside/outside flow Timber floors and timber decks, featuring Australian hardwoods High ceilings Verandahs Multiple outdoor entertaining areas Homes that capture the breezes and views Modern kitchens Walk-in pantry / scullery Our Mission To ensure excellence and integrity in our standards, professionalism in our manner and to do the utmost so that everyone involved has a ‘great and memorable experience’ during the entire building project.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
