ABOUT US Cooling Brothers has been successfully trading for over 40 years. However in the early 90’s it was a fading presence, held back by a reluctance to embrace the technology revolutionizing the glass industry. From the outside looking in, it’s not easy to see what was attractive to the group of private equity investors that purchased the company in 1992. The business had declined from a thriving company of over 40 employees to five people, working out of a small and outdated factory in Leederville, Western Australia. The new owners quickly set about re-establishing the business, and soon outgrew their factory space, moving to a larger space in Belmont. Updating the machinery with the latest technology from Italian manufacturers such as Bavelloni, the business shifted towards a greater focus on the processing of glass to meet the ballooning demand in the market. In 2004, Cooling Brothers took over the adjoining factory in Belmont, installing a TamGlass toughening furnace, CNC machines and laminating cutting benches. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
