As Bricklayer's my primary responsibility is to construct, repair, and restore walls and other structures. Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints. Accurately measuring and cutting building materials to specifications. Laying bricks, structural tiles, concrete blocks, and other masonry units. Mixing mortar or grout and spreading it onto a slab or foundation. Constructing or repairing walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures. Ensuring that all structures are aligned, leveled, and structurally sound. Using various tools and equipment such as trowels, levels, and masonry saws efficiently and safely. Restoring, cleaning, and repairing existing masonry structures.
