ABOUT US Crawley Blinds and Awnings was established in the 1970’s by Neil and Elna Crawley, and is still operated by the Crawley family. The business started in a small warehouse in Garbutt and from there moved to our current location at 3 Castlemaine Street Kirwan in 1988 to meet the business’ expansion and manufacturing requirements. Crawley Blinds and Awnings biggest achievement to date is in the designing, engineering and perfecting of the Colour Bonded range of Awnings. Neil Crawley along with Valectro Industries engineered our original TROPICOOL Colour Bonded Awnings so that North Queensland FINALLY had an Awning range that was suited to withstand our tropical climate and weather. To this day we are still the only Company to manufacture the TROPICOOL Awning ranges to the original engineering specifications. We pride ourselves on delivering to our customer’s honest, reliable and experienced service that we back up with only quality products sourced from many different suppliers throughout our 40 years of trading. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
