Welcome! We are a concreting company that offers a variety of concreting types and styles. CS CONCRETING has been operating since early 2000, although the owner has been in the concrete industry since 1992, with formal qualifications and background experience in the construction industry, working for large scale EPCM contractors like John Holland, Clough Engineering and BGC. Our company is based in FREMANTLE, offering a wide range of concrete related services to the entire metropolitan area of Perth. This versatility is our advantage over other companies and is reflected not only in the types of decorative concreting we offer, but in other general aspects of concreting (e.g. house pads, footings, commercial slabs) and personalized consultation with prospective clients. We pride ourselves on the high standard of works we deliver, placing an important emphasis on the quality of the end product while aiming to meet your budgetary requirements. Residential and commercial customers of CS CONCRETING, are satisfied customers. Our Products EXPOSED AGGREGATE This type of concrete has gained popularity in recent times. It has been suited to both old style federation homes and cottage style houses, as well as ultramodern designs. There is a wide range of mixes available. The mixes can be premixed at the source plant and poured on site, or they can be seeded on site. However, the seeding method is not highly recommended because it produces inconsistency in the end product, although this option may be discussed if needed. We usually use premixed mixes from WA Premix, BGC, Readymix - Holcim, Boral. It is therefore important to ensure correct names of mixes from suppliers are quoted to us, when requesting feedback from us about prices. CS Concreting highly recommends acid washing and sealing of exposed surfaces, with high quality chemicals, a service also provided by our company. ......................................................................... POURED LIMESTONE Poured limestone is, in actual fact, reconstituted crushed limestone, mixed with cream cement mix. It therefore has advantages over ordinary concrete type mixes. One of these advantages is that it does not heat up in the sun as much as ordinary concrete does. This allows you to walk barefoot on its surface - ideal for pool surroundings. Another advantage is that the lime keeps ants away. Poured limestone can be finished in a few different effects and textures. The most popular finish is the 'rough' scratched finish, which allows resemblance to traditional limestone finishes. A variety of patterns can be cut into the limestone finish. Patterns are discussed with customers and chosen carefully to compliment the house and landscape. Patterns can be cut with a grinder or a v-joint. Grinder cutting is done the following day after the concrete has been poured. It is suitable for modern homes as it gives a sharp look to the edges. V-joint cutting is suited to older style homes (heritage, cottage) and is done on the same day the concrete is poured. Some customers prefer a specific tinge to the limestone, ie. less or more yellow in colour. This can be adjusted as per customer preference. It is highly recommended to seal poured limestone areas. The professional sealer will protect the surface from staining and wear. This is a service offered by CS Concreting and may be discussed with customers ......................................................................... COLOURED CONCRETE Coloured Concrete is the process that takes concrete beyond its perceived image as just another utilitarian construction material and transforms it into an attractive, vibrant and innovating medium that may be customized to meet any decor, construction style, pattern, color etc, while still serving its function as an integral part of the building itself such as floors, walls, driveways and patios. If you do not want to spend a fortune on your concreting needs, but would like something presentable, modern and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, coloured concrete is a great option. There is a wide variety of colours to choose from, which can be found on the CCS colour chart. The colour is usually mixed into the concrete at the source plant, which allows consistency of colour and produces a long term coloured product resilient to fading over the years. Coloured concrete may be sealed. Sealing gives a slightly deeper and darker end colour, and will protect from staining and wear. This is a service offered by CS Concreting and may be discussed with customers. ......................................................................... Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
