We Specialise In: Residential Commercial Public About Us Dominic Altieri, Of Domain Force Shade sails says when asessing a site for a shade sail he uses engineering computations to asess and determine what the requirments will be incorporating factors such as wind, house construction and the number and combination of fixing methods. He says one of the first things a home owner must consider is whether to attatch the sail using posts or a combination of posts and the structure of the house itself. On a brick home, the sail cannot be fixed to any of the top rows of bricks and so may be secured to the roof system using special brackets attatched to the rafters. On a weatherboard house it must be attatched with stainless steel brackets and coach screw that spread the load more evenly and are attatched to a proper load bearing stud. Dominic says another factor to consider is wind. If its in a windy area, you may have to comprimise on the size of the sail. However he says the efficiency and safety of any sail depends on its installation.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
