Our experience spans back to 1988 with the following fire companies: Tyco Fire & Safety, Wormald Fire Systems, Fire Control, Inertia Fire Systems, Fire Zone, Commercial Fire Protection and Mercury Engineering. We can offer you advice system upgrades & carry out audits on existing systems. From conceptual designs and budgets to final installation design and preparation of ‘As Installed’ documentation at the completion of your project. Our engineers have many years experience in all types of Fire Protection Systems design such as: Fire Detection Fire Sprinkler Systems Fire Hydrant & Hose Reel Systems Smoke Detection Emergency Warning & Intercom Systems Gas Suppression Systems (FM200, CO2) Foam, Deluge, & Water Spray Systems Performance engineering of Fire Protection Systems Our in house design team prepare full workshop drawings using the latest AutoCAD software & HP large format plotters. Installation The installation of Fire Protection systems has been the cornerstone of Extreme Fire Solutions since 1997. Now with the expansion of a Sprinkler division we are able to offer our clients a comprehensive solution when installing all Fire Protection systems. This allows you to deal with one contractor. Maintenance Extreme Fire Solutions has trained technicians who conduct regular maintenance as per AS1851:2012. We also offer 24 hours 7 days a week emergency service. If you are faced with an emergency at any time, we guarantee to be there within 2 hours or less. All calls between 7.00am – 5.00pm are taken by our office and after hours the call is diverted directly to the Technicians on call. Defect Liability Period After the construction of a new building has been completed, there is a period of Defect Liability which in affect is a warranty period to safeguard the Building owner in the event of any works not being of an acceptable standard. It is good practice towards the end of this period to engage the services of a competent Fire Services contractor to ensure the installation is acceptable and compliant. Of particular importance for example is to ensure Fire Doors have been installed correctly. They can easily be installed incorrectly with inconsistent margins. Certification What is an Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS)? An AFSS is an annually issued document Signed by the owner of a premises or his nominated agent to state that:- 1) They have selected a Properly Qualified Person to conduct the assessment of installed fire safety measures on their premises. 2) That the installed fire safety measures at their premises are being maintained to a standard not less than that to which it is was installed to. 3) That he/she attests that he has not contravened Division 7 of the EP&A Regulation relating to Clauses 183, 184, 185 & 186 pertaining to exits, doors and paths of travel to an exit. 4) Dated so that it has a limited period of validity of 12 months.
