ABOUT US Fleur de Lys Tapestries offers an extensive collection of tapestries, tapestry cushions and tapestry fabric for decorative and functional home-furnishing. These quality articles are all produced from traditional European loom-woven tapestries and are all hand-finished. The exquisite tapestries capture the atmosphere of the originals and are created by skilled craftsmen working in many attractive textures. Designs cover the period from the 11th Century to the 19th Century, from the historical Bayeux Tapestry of Norman times to the decorative ‘ Arts and Craft ’ style of the Victorian era. All tapestries are bordered and lined using fine quality material and are ready for hanging. Tapestries are magnificent and are suitable for entrance halls, dining areas, lounge rooms and other areas of your home where an object d’art can be appreciated. The tapestries are either woven or silkscreen. Based on a weaving method invented in 1804, loom-woven tapestries are produced on Jacquard looms, involving the interweaving of warp and weft yarns of different colours to create the design. The setting up and control of the looms is a highly skilled and delicate operation requiring much attention to detail. Contact us today for more information.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
