Fleurieu Plumbing and Gas walked home as Eco Smart Plumber of the Year at the Plumbing Industry Association Gala awards dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Saturday, October 29. The award was given t othe company for its design and installation of all hydraulic services in a modern spacious new home at Encounter Bay. The property's waste water was split between black and grey water over three levels before entering the government connection. Rain water was collected in three 10,000 litre tanks via first flush devices and to all fixtures through methods of filtration. Great care and consideration was given by the owners, South Coast Constructions and Fleurieu Plumbing and Gas to ensure the property is environmentally friendly and consideration was given to all aspects of water supply and treatement. The company's three partners Jonathon Brown, Andrew Hoet and Antony Reynolds said they are honoured to receive the award. They wish to thank the owners of the property for allowing the judges and members of the plumbing industry to see the home and South Coast Constructions for their assistance and support with the project
