About Us David Pettiford also known as 'Dave' has been in the gardening and landscape field for over 20 years, starting in business with his father, Geoff, at the age of 18. Geoff's extensive experience as overseer of Parks and Gardens in Albury meant that Dave could learn on the job. Taking up a number of regular clients with his Dad in business, and seeing jobs through to finality is something the really prided themselves on. Having taken on the business after Geoff's passing in 2004, Dave's hands-on experience has him well placed to be an endless source of information when it comes to plants, designs and hardscapes. Also a qualified brick layer, Dave has a superior knowledge of horticulture. His ability to advise clients on how to establish and maintain a beautiful garden is the foundation of his consultancy work. Whether it be a 1 hour 'stroll' through the site, or a comprehensive set of drawings and plant guides, Dave's passion for his work is evident. He has designed all styles of gardens, including Japanese, Native, cottage, waterwise, Balinese, and even vegetable patches, no job is too big or too small. Among the list of clients are Lifestyle Village (Lavington), Defence Housing, and many private clients, some of whom have engaged Dave's services for almost 20 years on an ongoing basis. Dave also has a strong referral relationship with Peard's Nursery Albury. More recently, Dave has established business links with other tradesmen in the area, ranging from paving specialists, concreters, plumbers and irrigation specialists. Dave also has a dedicated and qualified Landscape Draftsman who can whip up a plan if required. There is no aspect of landscaping that Dave can't help with in some way. Dave is more than willing to travel outside Albury/Wodonga to provide his consultancy service.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
