With three decades of experience, my background in heritage and my passion to create, I am able to cover all aspects of the stone industry. I was born and raised in the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire in Northern England. As the son of a heritage property developer, I have spent most of my life working with stone. The buildings we worked on were from different eras, dating back to the 12th century, some with ornate architecture such as gargoyles and grotesques.This gave me an appreciation of skilled craftsmanship and artistry which led me towards ‘York Collage of Art & Technology’ to train for three years as a banker mason (architectural carving).
