We are located in the economic rural region that lies to the east of Melbourne, known as Gippsland. We include the area from Drouin to Mallacoota, including all of South Gippsland. At Gippsland Home Inspections, we have extensive local experience particularly in relation to methods of home construction, property inspections, geological ground formation and of course previous histories of severe weather and ecological influences within the area. Combined Building & Termite Inspection Here at Gippsland Home Inspections, not only do we provide the most professional Building Inspection service, but we also try and offer the best prices available. What could be a better example of this than our Combined Building and Termite Inspection which is a “two for the price of one” offer – well almost! You see not only do you get a full Pre-Purchase Building Inspection but you also get a complete Pest and Termite Inspection both together at a very substantially reduced price compared to the individual price! We are fully aware from the information given to us by our clients that speed is of the essence when somebody is contemplating the purchase of a property, particularly when it is at an auction. Therefore to prune inspection time to the absolute minimum, we send out two of our inspectors to your property at the same time, each one doing their own inspection. Obviously, this is far quicker than you ordering one inspection after the other, both on separate dates. New Build Inspections You have purchased the plot of land; you have an architect; the plans are drawn; you have appointed the main building contractor, so now you just sit back and wait until your brand-new home is ready! WRONG! We hate to be the bearers of bad news but any new build inspections can be plagued with delays, cost overruns and a certain element of both substandard and sheer careless workmanship. Of all the complaints made against builders and their contractors, the most common is their failure or total reluctance to put right or remedy instances of incorrect material, faulty workmanship and downright negligence. It is even worse if these are not noticed until after purchase is being completed and the homeowners have moved in. You see there is no longer any interest by the builder to put right these defects quickly, since his concentration is inevitably on the next project and that he has already been paid for constructing your home. Pest and Termite Inspections One of the reasons we use sophisticated state-of-the-art technology such as an Moisture Meter is because timber that often appears solid on the outside, may very well be completely hollow on the inside from Timber Pest Attack! We cannot stress enough that all our inspections comply fully with all and any appropriate Australian Standards and this applies in particular to our Pest and Termite Inspection which is undertaken in accordance with Australian Standard 4349.3. Not many people realise that it only needs a gap of 2 mm for termites to infiltrate a property and begin infestation. So not only are we looking during our Inspection for existing traces, we also seek to determine any possibilities of future infestation, due to property defects. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
