ABOUT US As a friend of Arthur Byrne (the "B" in B&D) in the early 1950's Graham Day was invited to install B&D's then new Roller Door. The Roller Door quickly grew in popularity, and soon there were many installers working for his installation company. As the garage door market developed, Graham identified a need for specialised garage doors and started his own manufacturing company, focusing on producing customised doors. Today, as the main manufacturers have grown, they have focused on providing a standard range of doors. In contrast, while still providing the standard range, Graham Day Garage Doors has become the leader in constructing doors with unique designs and materials and providing solutions for challenging garage openings. The company continues to be a family owned and run business, into its second generation. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
