Welcome to Greenough Woodworks Gallery Max Royce Woodworks is located at Greenough Woodworks, situated on the picturesque Greenough Flats, 15km south of Geraldton. The small team at Max Royce Designs both design and create pristine fine furniture from premium grade recycled timbers. This reputable company is highly regarded throughout the midwest and guarantees the highest quality of furniture production. The craftsmen are environmentally conscious and salvage their recycled timbers from many often very historic sources such as breweries, pioneer dwellings, sheds, railway stations, and wharf yards. In fact, they obtain timbers from any building undergoing renovations or demolition within the Midwest region. All furniture is individually hand-crafted by Max and his team of Artisans, ensuring each piece has unique characteristics and creative charm. Please take time to view the amazing transformation of our weathered raw timbers into quality furniture. About Max Royce Max Royce manages his business from his workshop and adjoining gallery. Max's furniture designs incorporate relatively simple lines to enable "The timber to do the talking". His careful choice of wood captures the natural warmth and beauty of the timbers grain. Each piece is designed and crafted to suit the client's requirements. Records of all creations are kept and a numbered brass plaque is fixed to each completed product. All furniture is stamped to show the place of origin and date of the timbers used to build his masterpieces. Many of Max's clients like to supply their own timber for him to transform into beautiful furniture. This is especially popular with farmers who use timber from old sheds, cattle ramps and homesteads to capture some family history within their homes. Many such pieces are regarded as future family heirlooms.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
