ABOUT US A short stint in marketing was enough for Sean to decide he didn’t want an office job, so he got his horticulture trade ticket and worked in landscaping. While working for a landscaping firm that was branching out into renovations and construction, Sean was offered a carpentry apprenticeship and a new career direction that saw him grow with that company for 14 years. Building form work for pouring concrete led to Sean gaining expertise in this building material, specialising in concrete seating, staircases and polished concrete. A highly skilled and versatile tradesman, Sean headed to Papua New Guinea, where he managed the maintenance of commercial premises and properties in Port Moresby until late 2013, when he returned home to the Sunshine Coast. Sean has been involved in numerous high-profile projects including large residential developments in Melbourne, constructing a timber playground in Kinglake during Victoria’s rebuilding after the Black Saturday bushfires and boardwalks on Stradbroke Island, Brisbane’s Southbank and the lake at Roma Street Parklands.
