It all depends on the situation and location. With pool paving I recommend that all paving is completed on a concrete sub-base. Hawkesbury Native Landscapes only uses premium road base and Australia Standard paving bedding sand. Extras to think when paving are quality suppliers, pavers textures especially around pools and on steps, Bullnose options, quality of drains and lighting. Pool Surrounds: With pool landscaping I recommend no cocus palms, due to the fact I’ve had to hand dig out far to many. Try to limit the use of small foliage or small flowers as these can restrict filters. Try large foliage such as Flax, Frangipani, ect. Always minimize lawns with in pool areas, go with paved stepping stones and gravel mulch. The option is always a sealed surface such as paving or concrete, quality of drains and lighting. Always keep in mind shade for the kids in the day time and lighting for the adults in the night time. Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
