TREATED PINE RETAINING WALLS At Hayters our pine retaining wall products are treated to H4 with Lifewood® CCA and NatureWood® ACQ® at our own sawmill and treatment plant in Werombi NSW. Before constructing any form of retaining wall it is important to ensure the construction complies with any regulations. Note: If you are building a treated timber retaining wall it is important to re-seal the cut ends to prevent damage caused by fungal decay and termites. It works by attaching one end of the mesh to the front lip of the gutter, while the other end passes over the first row of tiles and under the second row. Hayters Sawmill What we offer: Timber Treament Hayters sawmilling and treatment plant is located at Werombi an hour and half South West of Sydney. Comissioned in May 2003 the fully automated treatment plant ensures our products are treated to AS1604, Tuma and TMA as required. Timber Milling Hayters sawmill primarily saws softwood however hardwood can be milled upon request. All softwoods are sourced from various State and private forests ensuring the sustainability of plantation timber. The sawmill uses a large twin edger (break down) saw that enables us to handle larger than normal diameter logs. Bar, table or bench top slabs? We can supply a range of sizes. Dressed Timber Hayters Sawmill recently upgraded to a Gau Jing 6 head moulder designed to produce high quality timber finishes and specific profiles to suit various applications. The moulder has been matched to an automatic in feed and automatic pack stacker. Hayters have developed a unique and simple noise barrier using V shaped treated slabs. Please contact the sawmill for further details. Fencing Split posts, rails and strainers are all available in both hardwood and treated pine. Pallet Hayters Sawmill is a major supplier of pine pallet timber cut to specific requirements. Please contact the sawmill to discuss your timber pallet needs. Kiln Drying Where required Hayters Sawmill kiln dry packs of timber to increase stability and reduce shrinkage during a controlled process to monitor the rate of drying. Firewood Hayters Sawmill provides seasoned, dry, mixed hardwood comprising of Ironbark, Spotted Gum, Grey Gum, Stringy Bark in fact a good mix of South East Australian Eucalypts. All firewood timber is sourced from road clearing and rural plantations ensuring environmentally sensitive forests and native timbers are protected. Logs, Poles & Piles Hayters Sawmill are able to supply a large range of timber logs, poles and piles. These may be treated up to H6 for marine applications or untreated depending on requirements. Hayters timber treatment plant is able to treat poles up to 20 meters in length. We also manufacture treated timber rounds, winged splits and half rounds.
