DIY Designer’s Courses are tailored to ease the challenges you face and the outcome is a complete colour scheme for your home designed by you! Building, renovating or redecorating should be a fantastic and exciting experience for everyone ready to take on the challenge. Many people underestimate the amount of time, energy and money that it takes to achieve their desired look. The challenge is knowing where to start, who to call and most importantly what’s it going to look like? You briefly entertain the idea of using a designer, but have heard that they can be expensive, so you embark on searching for your personal look and feel. With so many choices in the market, you realise that you’re not that much closer to making a decision, but more confused than ever!! It’s time to get help! What if there was a weekend workshop where you could learn skills that can be used for all of your future home design projects, achieve the designer look for your home, make great industry contacts and most of all have fun! Working with interior designer Jill Rogers and her team, you will be guided through the myriad of colours and finishes available, taught the basic principles of design and by the end will achieve a stunning outcome for your home. There are two styles of courses available and both are run at the Home Ideas Centre at South Brisbane. Class sizes are limited, to give each participant the maximum amount of personalised time.
