Welcome to Jane Tangney art + design Jane Tangney is an independent artist and building designer with a modernist inspired sensibility. Blending her two disciplines of fine art and design, Jane seamlessly creates environmentally sustainable homes with a relaxed and thoroughly modern Australian consciousness. Her stunning residential schemes celebrate the human experience with a balance between intimate and shared spaces. A deliberate sense of ambiguity between outdoor and indoor experiences is prevalent in her work as is her careful planning of artwork placement. Its immediately evident this architecture is the work of an artist, a play with natural light begins at the entrance and unfolds to reveal an expansive gathering space...flooded with sunlight, exaggerated ceiling heights, and a tapestry of colour on the walls.
