Contact us today! I have had a strong interest in Design since I was a little one - I remember so vividly as a five year old, overseeing the new bathroom my father was building and wanting (so desperately) to help. It was also around this age that I recall putting my order in for an up and coming birthday. My wish was for a two storey doll house - so my dad and older brothers skilfully constructed and presented me with a very basic, small timber box, complete with a gable roof (much to my horror). Unfortunately the box they had presented me, did not in any way match with my 5 year old vision of a two storey doll house and despite the devastation, there were no other gifts flowing in so I had to live with the 1 storey (complete with some kind of 'open to the elements', carpeted attic/gable roof with breezeway). I did recover from the disappointment and in 2002 embarked on a journey which would become my professional career path. I studied a Diploma of Interior Design which covered colour, model making, soft and hard finishes right through to manual drafting and perspective drawing. During this course I worked for Amber Tiles as a Colour/Sales Consultant. I then chose to broaden my structural design knowledge by undertaking an Advanced Diploma of Building Design. This course covered many aspects including hand drawing, material selection, working out floor and roof framing layouts for residential projects, residential site visits, documentation of a unit development and warehouse design. We were also given an introduction to the Construction Code and learned the basics of CAD in the form of Revit Software. During my studies I took the opportunity to gain professional industry experience through a drafting position with Project Services (Department of Public Works). I had the opportunity to work on many projects - usually as part of a larger team of talented people, in the capacity as drafter, colour consultant and student architect role. After completion of the Advanced Diploma of Building Design and while working with Project Services, I began studying a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) at QUT. After departing Project Services and taking a short break to bring child number two into the world, I powered on and while working for a small residential practice I finished the course with a bang, graduating (after doing what most would see as pure craziness) - 5 subjects in one semester (full time study is 4), a teenage son, a one year old son + one very supportive husband to take care of while working 2 days a week. I graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Minor in Indigenous Studies and am now a licenced Building Designer (Medium Rise). Note - in Qld Architects and Building Designers can perform the same work within the approved licence class.

Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
