We are a small business, meaning that you deal with the builder direct. Being a small business ensures quality control of building your energy efficient home, enabling us to micromanage your project. Our building success is achieved by ensuring your needs are met through careful consultation throughout the whole home building process. Our attention to detail in the energy efficiency area resulted in achieving a nine star energy rating on a recent multi-award winning project. The success of the job was achieved by the close collaboration between the builder, designer and the clients. We use thermally broken double glazed window units in their passive solar designed homes throughout Southern Tasmania. All of our thermally efficient homes are optimally built to utilise solar gain and are cross ventilated to minimise the need for cooling in summer and heating in winter. We can build any type of house to suit your budget whether it is a standard first home or an architecturally designed energy efficient larger home. We enjoy working with clients through every step of their building project. From looking at the developing plans, we offer suggestions as required and work with the designer to meet the brief of the client. Testimonials Val and Mike We feel incredibly lucky to have had Justin and his team build our new energy efficient house. Our solar passive design required a high attention to detail to ensure it performed as well as possible - in particular focussing on preventing "thermal bridging" between the inside and outside, allowing us to be warm and cosy in our scenic location. Justin actively sought out materials and products to improve the energy efficiency of our house. We were impressed with the high level of collaboration with the building designer (a solar passive expert) in developing and implementing solutions required by our steep and elevated site. Justin's craftsmanship, quality of construction and finish have given us an energy efficient home that is extremely comfortable to live in and looks beautiful as well. Paul and Kristina We met Justin when he was working on a renovation and extension for a family member. We saw firsthand the care he took in each stage of the build, as well as his excellent communication and project managing skills. The only thing better than a word of mouth referral is a try-before-you buy experience such as that. So choosing a builder for our own extension was easy! We wanted to create something that would make an increased energy efficient home, and for the Tasmanian building industry it was quite unusual as we adopted a range of techniques used in Europe which are novel here. Justin had no difficulties implementing these techniques, and provided plenty more interesting and innovative ideas to achieve our goals. The build was delivered on time and with the minimum amount of stress throughout. We highly recommend him to any potential builders, particulary those embarking on a unique or energy efficient home. Nigel I engaged Justin to carry out renovations and extensions at my property, 5 Heathorn Avenue Sandy Bay. Justin is the most exacting and is conscientious with his work, and I was completely satisfied and pleased with the result. I would have no hesitation in giving Justin my unqualified recommendation.

Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
