ABOUT KOOLENARCHITECTURE koolenARCHITECTURE was established in 2010 as a small architectural practice with a focus on creating places and spaces that are timeless, comfortable and wonderful to inhabit and return to time and time again. Capturing plentiful natural light, creating feelings of spaciousness and the incorporation of sustainable design features are essential basic elements in any koolenARCHITECTURE design. With a passion not only for the creative thinking and design aspects of the project, but also for the detailed design and construction process as a whole, attention to detail is something we pride ourselves on to ensure quality and success of the project outcome. We work together with our clients to ensure their project outcome is just as they envisaged or, even better, exceeds their expectations. Principal architect Megan Koolen has over 15 years experience in the architecture and construction industry working on a wide range of projects from new residential dwellings as well as alterations & additions, through to large, multi million dollar, retail, mixed use, high rise residential, urban design and masterplanning projects at international, national and local levels. Megan gained this large scale project experience while working as an Associate for a large international architectural company based in Melbourne and for a period of time in the Dubai office. With qualifications including BA(Arch), BArch(Hons) and a Masters of Construction Law, Megan is well prepared to handle all your architectural needs. Located on the Bellarine Peninsula but with projects stretching from Melbourne’s inner west out to Ballarat, Clunes, Inverleigh and of course right here in Geelong and the Bellarine we would love the opportunity to discuss your exciting new project with you.
