About Us Liquid Metal Technologies (LMT) was established in 2004 in Sydney, Australia as a service provider of decorative metal coatings. The company utilizes patented technological developments of Liqmet Australia Pty Ltd. The unique technology and subsequent six years' experience has helped us to become experts in the following areas: decorative metal coatings and 3D fabrications. Metal Finishes Range of LMT metal finishes is a range of decorative metal coatings for interior and exterior applications. METAL TYPES: Bronze Brass Gold Aluminum Dark Bronze Rose Alloy Pewter Platinum Zinc Iron Copper Smoked Chrome The range of metal coatings has expanded by new range of fire retardant metals in our eleven standard colours. We provide a number of patinas for different metals to add character (e.g. aged) to the metal surface. Our range contains three patinas such as Natural Green, Rust and Florentine. Iron can be rusted. Natural Green patina is suitable for Brass, Copper and Bronze finishes. Florentine patina is available for any metal finishes. Finally, it is up to you to decide how the surface should look, either “modern” or 150 years old. Waterproof test Under cyclic heat, humidity and rain no form of film degradation, no film breakdown, only small surface oxidisation that can be removed with steel wool. As liquid metals are applied by hand, the finished surface cannot be completely uniform. Our metal coatings are durable, non-toxic and they can oxidize like real metals. LMT finishes can be sealed in order to preserve your desired effect and can also be waterproofed if requested. Decorative metallic panels Our decorative metal panels are designed for use in : wall paneling, feature walls, water features, lift interiors, sliding doors, doors, kitchen splashbacks and many other interior design projects. The panels: non-toxic durable water resistant can be produced using any of the standard metal colours offer different design solutions using patinas Panels without patina add a contemporary and fresh look for your interior. However if you prefer the antique look you can choose an "aged effect" (natural green, rust or florentine patinas). Our technical experience gives us the ability to make panels as light as possible without backing. The "no backing" solution allows you to simply cut the panel to size and glue on to any existing surfaces. Also you can choose an MDF, fibreglass or aluminium base.
