About Us Our stylish and durable range of premium Teak Benches, Teak Chairs, versatile Teak Tables and adjustable Teak Loungers trace their heritage to the renowned Lister Teak factory in the UK where teak was first introduced in the 1920′s with comfortable and elegant outdoor Teak Benches. Many of these original Teak pieces still grace their parks and gardens, inscribed with the name of the warship the Teak decks were salvaged from. Mortice and tenon joints secured by teak dowels and quality brass fittings for moving joints, ensures unequalled strength in every piece of Teak furniture in both domestic and commercial use. The Lutyens Teak Bench is popular for formal gardens and parks and our Teak adjustable Loungers and Teak Drinks Tables enhance the outdoor poolside lifestyle. Plus Teak is infinitely more comfortable for use in our hot southern sunshine. Loom furniture was first produced in America in 1920 and then made in London from 1922. In days past, Loom furniture has graced the Royal Boxes at Ascot and Twickenham, plus provided elegance and durability to above decks on majestic ocean liners. Steel wire in every upright strand gives the woven fibre furniture its renowned strength and durability. The beautiful smooth finish of Loom furniture will not scratch or catch, and with a little care will last decades without bending or cracking. Every piece is cool, strong and easy to move, plus finished to the colour requirements of every Loom customer. The current Loom range includes many elegant designs reminiscent of the 1920′s and 30′s as well as fresh modern and innovative designs. Loom furniture is stylish and practical for interior use and suitably popular for homes, casinos, golf and country clubs. Some Loom designs are also made in outdoor resin weave over aluminium frames for outdoor use in all seasons. The French Fermob range traditionally used steel rod and strap for chairs and tables. Now some styles include a selection of perforated patterns. More recently, over 20 colours of powder coated frames with matching Batalyne fabrics have been introduced The spring steel Bistro Chairs and folding Tables have proved resilient and durable for the wear and tear of café and public areas. The fabric covered tubing style ensures the seating remains ever comfortable and stylish as it moves and moulds to the individual shape of each person. The French Fermob range folds for easy storage and is light and compact for travel. Fermob with its rainbow of available colours makes a bold statement when mixed and matched. Teak furniture retains its elegant durable quality and weathers to a pleasant silver grey which adds to its appeal. The natural oil in Teak timber ensures the crafted Teak furniture will remain maintenance free for decades in the outdoor elements. Loom is light and strong – the twisted paper glued to stainless wire makes a flexible weave that is secured around cane frames and may be painted for colourful comfortable furniture. The French Fermob range includes classic wire styles dating back 100 years with many clever folding and stacking chairs and tables. The current European trend is for bolder and brighter colours and our Loom and Fermob ranges showcase this successful look. Lister Teak is happy to provide a copy of our brochure.
