Neil Design can guide you through all stages of a project from design brief and initial design concepts to construction documents, planning approvals and construction on site. We are able to manage consultants on your behalf or provide basic design and drafting services for clients who coordinate the consultants team themselves. We bring to projects a passion for design, underpinned by our broad experience of the development process from feasibility through design and documentation to construction on site. SERVICES Pre-design : This is a research phase where we gather preliminary information about your site, existing buildings and council planning requirements. We also obtain a design brief from you or assist with the development of a design brief. Design: We have extensive experience providing high quality design concepts that respond to the unique requirements of our clients, their sites and budgets. We are also happy to collaborate on the design with you or develop a design you already have on the drawing board. Approvals: We collate drawings and other relevant documentation into a package suitable for development application and respond to any enquiries from the planning consultant, building certifier or council. Construction Documentation: This stage involves preparation of drawings and other documents suitable for obtaining builders quotes and construction on site. We can provide a full documentation service including design of cabinetry and a detailed specification covering all fittings, fixtures and finishes. Alternatively you might require basic drawings for approval and construction and be happy to coordinate the selections of fittings, fixtures and finishes with your builder.
