ABOUT US It may surprise some people to know that it all started when Alan Bull began growing mushrooms in a specially designed room underneath his parent's house. After a while he started to realise that selling the spent mushroom compost brought in more money than selling the mushrooms themselves, and so in 1974 he started his new business: RP Farm Products. The business continued to grow... specialist soil mixes, potting mixes, orchid mixes. We became a leading supplier of bagged products for Brisbane nurseries. But we also catered to the professional and home gardeners, loading up trailers and utes with our special mixes and mulches. We began to accomodate the local tradies... sand, gravel, cement, timber, and eventually pavers and blocks. More bays were built, the gravel range expanded, so too did the range of pavers and blocks. More trucks were added to our fleet. How things had changed! But one thing has never changed... we're a family owned and operated business... and proud of it.
