ABOUT US A significant initiative was taken in 1978 when Olympic Industries purchased a roll forming machine and started rolling its own steel sections. The big breakthrough came with the development of the C 75 Steel Section, which revolutionised garage construction in Australia and made Olympic Industries a household name. The primary supplier of materials is BlueScope Steel and extensive use is made of Colorbond® Steel. Our dedication to quality, reliability and innovation has enabled us to expand from humble beginnings in the 70’s, a multi-award winning, proudly South Australian company. Our many awards include the BHP Trophy for the “Best Use of Australian Steel” and the ANZ Bank “Award of Excellence”. No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
