I have always been passionate about design. I have travelled the world and been exposed to many different cultures and design styles. I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Design at RMIT in 1992. Eventually I took on a design position with Advanced Cabinetry and really began to hone my skills in the kitchen and joinery fields. At was at this time that I learned to draw kitchen designs using computer software. This enabled client’s to see their new kitchen and joinery in 3D and know exactly how it was going to look before it was installed. I designed a new showroom for Advanced Cabinetry and won a design award for best showroom with the CDMA. After 5 years with Advanced Cabinetry it was time to move on and I became the designer at Matthews Joinery and Kitchen Centre. They needed a new showroom too and so I set to and created a new layout and display for Matthews Joinery. I work with my clients to achieve their vision. I am not influenced by fashion or fads but by truly great design. I understand that your new kitchen or joinery needs to function fabulously but also needs to create the ambiance you crave for your home.
