Our Story Brett and Sharon Payton met in 1985 while Brett was an apprentice cabinetmaker. Brett Payton began operating as Brett Payton Cabinetmaker in May 1991. Owning just his own tools, Brett hired equipment for each project and operated from his father in law's home. He door knocked and took on any job required. Replacing or planing a door, fixing a step, building a pergola; just to get known. Brett's determination paid off. By November 1991 the partnership of B&S Payton Kitchens was formed and the business moved to their first shed in McDougall Street, Toowoomba. In 2007 Payton Kitchens was awarded Qld Small Employer of the Year. In May 2008 Payton Kitchens moved into their new premises at 1a Freighter Avenue. Services We will visit you at your home and design your kitchen to suit your needs, not ours. Our kitchens are individually designed, utilizing available space to create a fully functional work area. Our service includes design, manufacture and installation. We are the preferred cabinetmaker to many clients all over Queensland. We have developed a good reputation in the country as well as the Brisbane metropolitan area.
