ABOUT US Prime Spray Services was founded in 2011 on the Sunshine Coast by Michael Beard. Michael has an extensive knowledge of the Bitumen and Asphalt Industry with over 12 years of hands on experience. Prime Spray Services has worked with some of the larger road construction companies in areas such as the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gladstone and Townsville offering bitumen spraying services. In 2013, Prime Spray Services spread their services to rural Queensland by taking on board smaller and out-of-the-way jobs that are often overlooked or hard to get to by some of the bigger road constructions companies. SERVICES Spray seal, which can also be called Chip Seal, acts as a water proofer, is an adhesive and is skid resistant. It is a thin layer of bitumen emulsion followed by a layer of aggregate. The process is repeated for a standard two-coat application. However if an existing seal needs repair a single coat reseal may be used.
