EasiOyYa – Possibly the most efficient irrigation system in the world In a society where we are always busy, busy, busy, our gardens tend to fall a bit short. This is a common problem and we have a simple solution. Welcome to the new and improved way to get the garden of your dreams with “EasiOyYa”. We have developed a simple piece designed to make gardening a breeze, and you may be wondering how. No more up turned plastic bottles, hosepipe bans or relying on the neighbours or the rain while you’re away. No more thinking that the idea of having a garden is too hard, time consuming and sometimes not worth the hassle. We're out to change that, one EasiOyYa at a time! EasiOyYa makes home gardening easy. EasiOyYa is a watering system that is based on the Olla (pronounced Oy-Yah) which is a sub surface irrigation technique thought to have originated in Northern Africa or ancient China over 4000 years ago. Olla’s are traditionally unglazed terracotta/clay pots that are buried almost fully into the earth and then having water poured into them, thereby using gravity to allow the water to flow in to the surrounding earth to be absorbed by the plant roots. So now for the science bit… the EasiOyYa irrigation system works due to the micro porous (unglazed) walls of the clay pots that do not allow water to flow freely from the pot, but guides water seepage from it in the direction where capillary suction develops. To use EasiOyYa’s in the garden, simply bury the EasiOyYa’s in the soil leaving just the top slightly protruding. The EasiOyYa is constantly kept full of water via the connecting tubing from the water tank or reservoir. Once the EasiOyYa’s are positioned in the soil and the crops planted adjacent to it, the EasiOyYa clay pot effects sub-surface irrigation as water oozes out of it due to the suction force, which attracts water molecules to the plant roots. The suction force is created by a combination of the soil moisture tension and the plant roots pulling the moisture themselves. It can actually be called a “Plant Controlled” watering system. This cut away section in my test tank shows how the plant roots eventually grow around the pots and only “pull” moisture when needed, never wasting a single drop. EasiOyYa’s virtually eliminate the runoff and evaporation common in modern irrigation systems, allowing the plant to absorb nearly 100 percent of the water, helping to look after your plants, preserve water and provide a sustainable gardening solution. The benefits of using EasiOyYa include: * Natural watering through terracotta – no pumps or electricity required * Water delivered below ground, exactly where the plants need it * Attractive, nearly invisible design – no ugly upside down drink bottles * Plants have constant access to moisture – less stress * Ordinary ollas need filling every few days – EasiOyYa’s do it themselves * You can leave your plants for weeks or months at a time without having to worry about the plants getting watered * EasiOyYa is simple and safe to set up, everything you need (except for a reservoir) comes in the kit, just add water and let gravity do its thing!

Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
