For some 34 years, South Coast Sand & Civil have operated their earthmoving and excavation business on the Fleurieu Peninsula as “South Coast Sand & Metal”. In March of 1999, the name was changed to reflect more accurately the major activities carried out in civil construction and earthmoving. Ownership remains with Stephen Fladrich, son of the founders, Don and Lois. South Coast Sand & Civil prides itself on having a full range of up-to-date plant and equipment, employing up to 50 people with many years experience between them in earthmoving and civil construction. There are many prominent examples in the South Coast region of works that highlight the professionalism and quality of work produced by South Coast Sand & Civil.
