ABOUT US I have had a passion for plants and gardening from an early age. After working as a Chef for numerous years I decided to further develop my knowledge of plants and garden design and studied horticulture at Burnley College. After winning ABC gardener of the year in 2007 and opening my own garden to the public with the Australian Open Garden Scheme, it became evident that people liked my work and style. As a result I developed a part time business while continuing with my full time employment as a horticulturist. As my client base soon increased through word of mouth I decided to expand Spencer Garden Design & Horticultural Services into a full time business.
