YES! Our quotes are 100% FREE. Get in touch and organise yours today! How long before I can walk on the new concrete? As a guide, you should give it at least a few days to cure before walking on it. How much does concrete cost? The price of concrete around Australia can vary dramatically. It is always best to have a chat with Micheal to learn more about the available products and pricing. How much does concrete resurfacing cost? The price of concrete resurfacing will depend on the condition of your concrete and how advanced you would like your designs. What colours are available for patterned concrete? Stirling Concreting Services use Parchem or Perma-Colour stencil concrete paving systems. They have a number of colours available, as shown in the chart below. What do I need to organise for the concrete contractor? After your initial phone call or email enquiry, Michael will let you know what is involved and what will be required of you. What if the colour isn't what I expected? It's unrealistic to expect your contractor to precisely match the color of your concrete driveway to a showroom sample, a neighbor's decorative concrete driveway, or a photo from a brochure. Even plain concrete can exhibit colour variations, especially if the project requires more than one load of concrete or if the concrete placements are made on different days. Most of these variations are minor and will fade over time. What is curing? Curing if done correctly greatly increases concrete strength and durability. Curing primarily means to give the hydration process a jumpstart. When concrete is in the curing process, water is available. This encourages hydration and makes the concrete stronger. The duration of curing usually last for five days. New concrete may be wet with sprinklers or hoses. What locations do you service? We service all locations from Brisbane to the gold coast Ipswich to the scenic rim and all surrounding areas. What patterns are available for my concreting? Stirling Concreting Services use Parchem and Perma-Colour Stencil Concrete Paving Systems. There are a number of designs available. For a larger view of stencil designs, please see our stencil gallery. Why does concrete crack? Concrete, like all other materials, will slightly change in volume when it dries out. The reason that contractors put joints in concrete pavements and floors is to allow the concrete to crack in a neat, straight line at the joint when the volume of the concrete changes due to shrinkage. At Stirling Concreting Services we only use the best mix of concrete and steel to help reduce this. Testimonials Marcia and John Rivett, Jonica Pty Ltd said ... We have used Stirling Concreting for various different concrete jobs that we have had to be done. We have found Mick to be reliable, punctual, efficient and his professionalism makes Mick a standout in his field. His friendly attitude and commitment to doing a perfect job, is very much appreciated. We will most certainly be using him for all our future concrete work.
