ABOUT SUF is an urban forestry, horticultural landscape management and aquascape company based in Sydney/Australia. The company was founded in 2017 to provide environmental management and landscape maintenance to The Rocks and Circular Quay in Sydney from year 2017 to 2019 under Place management NSW and CBRE direction. I ts principal Mr Giovani Genovali dreamed of live in Australia since his childhood in Limeira/Brazil but only migrated in 2012. He graduated bachelor in Forestry Science/2008 in the Federal University of Vicosa/MG/Brazil, with major in environmental management and minor in landscape design. Gio has landed into horticulture and landscape in Sydney early 2013 with considerable work experience in a few countries before, with highlights to the 2 yrs (2004/2005) of much work and much learning at famous The Aquatic Design Centre in central London/UK, 1 year (2009) between landscaping for Garden Maker in Norfolk/CT and being the “Gio of all trades” for the manager of the greenhouses of Shredders flower in Green Bay/ Wi, and the 2+ years (2010-2012) as Landscape designer and Forester sole trader in Brazil. “It is fair for me to say that what I’m today was seeded in the days I spent as a young boy in my grandparents house, where I played for countless hours in the sheds with grandpa’s tools. I remember their beautiful gardens that he’d planted specially to attract his favourite bird, hummingbirds. I remember my granny so proud of her roses, I remember the family sitting on the porch laughing at the two arguing over how to prone the roses.. I still do it like she did… I like to think that thru my work I honour them and I make them very proud.” Today, Gio is a dedicated husband and father of baby girl called Lina, named after his granny and even though Sydney Urban Forestry is no longer responsible for the up keep of The Rocks Precinct, the company still holds contract with PMNSW to service irrigation and offers horticultural landscape consultation and services to CBRE as well as manage, services maintain numerous ponds, SERVICES - Horticultural management and maintenance - Landscape design and construction - Lawn care - Move out clean ups - Irrigation solutions - Horticultural pest control - Green waste removal - Compost management Contact Us
