ABOUT US Michael Pyers is an established artist and a qualified leadlight tradesman. His artistic vision has integrated the traditional form of leadlight art into more contemporary forms. This new scope for a traditional art form innitiates an innovative and exciting production of work in a variety of areas to suit the art lover, the home maker, the interior designer, architects, designers, shop fronts and corporate organisations. As a child I was encouraged to be creative. I grew up with my family on the grounds of a Technical College in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, where there was a large focus on art. The experience of the Papua New Guinea culture and their arts has had a major influence on my art work, even though i was classically trained in fine drawing for many years, by artist Robert Jago M.A.ATD. In 1993 I became a qualified tradesman in leadlighting. Since that time I have been consolidating and developing my skills working on large restoration projects, individual commissioned pieces and my own glass art pieces. When I'm creating, I am in my element, so the Glass Mandala is not exclusively about glass art. I love working with many different materials and complimenting them with what I'm most experienced with-glass. SERVICES The Glass Mandala's base is that of a personal service, working with clients in interpreting their ideas and needs to create individual pieces. The individual designs include consideration of situation and function. Applications for the art work include: Suspended glass sculptures Art mirrors Lamps and Shades Feature windows and Tiffany Panels Restoration work, Documentation and Professional Archiving Sculptures Commission work for: Architects Interior designers Home renovators Private organisations Design work that combines leadlight work with other mediums Call us today for further information.
No state or commonwealth licence has been tied to this business in our public sources. This is common for unlicensed trades or for businesses that have not yet been resolved against a jurisdictional register.
Public records are uneven by nature. Stronger records make operating claims easier to inspect. Thin records make the gaps obvious. Evidence beats explanation.
See methodology for how the index resolves duplicates, tiers evidence, and decides what to publish.
If this is your business, you can claim the record to add a verified contact, licence anchor, and service area.
