Solid Timber Flooring The new, the classic, the traditional and the old style looking Timber floor. Many kinds of timbers to choose from, such as Blackbutt, Jarrah, Ironbark, Spotted Gum etc in Select, Standard or better and Feature Grades. Rustic, Mill Run and many more The grading system is a way of describing the appearance of the timber, such as if the timber is uniform in appearance or if it has more distinctive gum veins and knot holes or a mix – we will help you choose the right timber grade for your needs. Engineered Floating Timber Engineered Floating floors come in single strip, double strip and triple strip and are more economical as they are quicker to install as they can installed using underlays and gluing the tongue and groove or alternatively can be glued to the sub floor. Engineered boards come pre-finished, saving money, as they do not need to be sanded and polished upon installation. When installing engineered floating timber flooring we use top quality moisture barrier products and adhesives, meeting or exceeding all Australian standards. Engineered timber floors are pre coated with acrylic lacquer, and are able to be recoated, re-sanded and polished at a later date. Bamboo A strong, environmentally friendly product, Bamboo has many of the advantages of Solid timber floors, such as pleasing variations of colour, but as an added benefit the Bamboo flooring comes pre-finished, saving time and money. When installing Bamboo flooring it can be floating or direct stick. We use top quality moisture barrier products and adhesives, meeting or exceeding all Australian standards. Laminate Floors Laminate floors are the cheapest option, and are the quickest to install. We sand your floor step by step by using a variety of sandpaper grits, filling all gaps and nail holes and ensuring we put in that extra time and effort in to make sure your floor is flat and sanded to its smoothest possible finish, and contains no scratches. We then apply 3 coats of polish, one sealer and 2 coats of your choice of finish (waterbase gloss/satin/matt) or polyurethane (gloss/satin/low sheen) or wax and oils Restoration and Repair Through re-sanding and polishing, Think Flooring can make old timber floors look like new again.
